Construction Surveying Services has employees who are at the top of their game in education and experience, with a unique balance of young, innovative professionals and seasoned professionals who have a wide range of successful projects to their credit.  CSS maintains a leading edge in the field by encouraging sharing of experience and discussion of new ideas.  CSS began at the turn of this century with the return of a native son who began his career in 1978 with a local surveying firm.  He temporarily left Alamogordo to attend college and to work in the fast-paced environment of the big cities, large companies, and challenging projects, and then returned home to offer his professional services to his home town.  A year or so later, it became apparent there was an increase in growth in the community, and the surrounding area, moving CSS to build a team of well-rounded and complementary, like-minded individuals whose backgrounds form a complete and capable staff for professional surveying services.  With the luck of a couple of walk-in rainmakers, a few recruits from local competitors, and one or two Cinderella stories, large contributions were made to the surveying profession, the community, and the company's reputation by people who are proud to be members of this firm.  While a perfect record is of course impossible, the people of CSS have remained close to this ideal by their devoted effort to ensure quality control using communication and partnership in decision making.  Their desire to meet or exceed the client's needs and to keep them on schedule has kept those with future work returning with complete faith in the competence of the staff of Construction Surveying Services.
